Vintage Brass Sleigh Bells Crotal Rumble Sleigh Bells 14 Bells Graduated

Here for your consideration is a Antique set of Bronze/Brass Graduated Crotal Rumble Pedal Bells mounted on a leather belt. Bells are either cast bronze or brass.

The patina of the bells is a brownish red. There are 14 pedal bells numbered 2 x 1,3,4,5,6,7 and 8. Bells have a solid ball inside.

Bells have a pebbled finish with. Hand tooled details around throat and 4 pedals tooled into either side of bell throat. Top of bell has NO (number) tooled into one side of throat and the. Size 1,3,4,5,6,7,8, tooled into the other side of throat. Belt is 6' 3" long x 1" wide.

Belt buckle is stitched in place. Belt is fitted with a clasp - assuming for easy release. Each bell is attached to leather belt using heavy gauged wire pulled through slot made in bell casting sprue and formed into a figure 8 to lock bell sprue against leather. Number 8 bell measures approximately: 2" W x 2 1/2" H (including sprue), the number 1 bell measures approximately: 1" W x 1 1/2" H (including sprue). Bells and leather are in very good pre-owned condition: no cracks in bells, all function, leather is pliable.
