This sale is for an Antique Horse Harness saddle sleigh bell. This would mount on the harness or collar of a horse.

I have also seen them mounted onto a board and fastened at front of a sleigh. This set is very old and was at one time chrome plated over the brass, but most of that plating has worn off on this set of bells and they look more like brass, but some plating remains when you look closely.

The top finial may be a replacement (see the close-up photo) we did not replace it. This bell was found this way from an estate. The set is 8 1/2" tall 7 3/8" wide and 2 1/2 deep.

The only flaw I can see are the strap is slightly bent and I do not want to bend it. These bells have a beautiful rich tone! This item is in the category "Collectibles\Decorative Collectibles\Bells". The seller is "ourfinds" and is located in this country: US.
