Welcome to my listing, please allow me to introduce myself. All of my clocks are working unless otherwise stated, I don't however regulate the clocks before listing - I leave that to you as every environment is unique. This is a C1760 longcase clock by David Borven all in full working order, movement and case are in good original condition.

David Borven is a very well recorded maker and is known for top quality clocks around 1760. The case has a sliding removable hood with a hinged door which protects the lead weights and silvered brass dial with glass sides and finished by 2 original turned wood finials to top. The case also has a stunning patina and colour if you like the original look of this type of longcase. The patina to the raised chinoiserie is just as it should be for the age of the clock and can only be acquired through age. The Clock Measures - 85 inches high x 19 inches wide x 9.5 inches deep Dial The clock has a beautiful brass and silver arched dial which measures 15.5 inches x 12 inches.

The dial features hand cut original spandrels to the corners and a stunning silver boss, the dial is in excellent condition. To the centre you have the sub seconds dial and working calendar dial as well as it being signed by the maker Movement The clock has a 8 day bell striking automation movement with a sub seconds and calendar features, the movement is in full working order keeping time and striking the bell as it should. The calendar turns over with the movement which is in full working order, it comes with its weights, pendulum and a new winding key Condition Report This clock is in good original condition and in full working order the clock is antique condition and does have related marks and knocks.
