This offering is for an antique early late 19th century brass and cast iron door bell. The doorbell is marked on the back "PATD JULY 2, 1872".
The bell is also complete with it's original fancy deeply embossed Eastlake style design brass lever striker with a porcelain knob. 3.75" in diameter at the back side and it is 2 5/8" in height.
The bell and it's striker as in perfect working condition. The porcelain knob has a flat chip off of the back mounting side but works perfectly fine. The bell has a beautiful uncleaned patina and is in overall excellent condition.
