Old Antique HANGING OIL LAMP with HAND PAINTED SHADE Smoke Bell COMPLETE

Presented for your consideration is this gorgeous antique hanging oil lamp. The lamp has a ornate brass frame with a glass font, chimney, shade and smoke bell. At the bottom of the frame work is a ornate accent piece with a loop in the center.

At the top of this loop is a brass font holder. Around the outside of the font holder are prisms that alternate from clear to blue. The clear prisms have a traditional prism shape while the blue prisms are an elongated tear drop shape. The clear glass font has a swirl and dot stripe pattern.

The font is completed with a brass collar, burner and oil cap. Sitting on the burner is a clear glass chimney. The shade of the lamp is made of milk glass with a hand painted design on the front and back. The colorful design shows what looks to be a yellow fruit surrounded by blue flowers, green leaves, and a orange-pink feather.

Holding the shade in place is an ornate shade crown. The lamp is completed with an ornate ceiling mount and a milk glass smoke bell. The lamp is complete and ready to use. A wick is also included.

This gorgeous lamp would make a nice addition to any lamp or lighting collection! A nice lamp to use! One blue prism is missing and the burner and font leans slightly. Glass appears to be free of chips and cracks.

Light wear from age and use. Overall in VERY GOOD condition. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details.
