There are no dents or significant scratches from it years of use.

The brass has aged nicely so as to give it a pleasing antique color. This vintage old pull works by pulling it out to trip an old fashioned mechanical door bell. The door bell button would mount on the door and the knob would be pulled from the outside and trip the old mechanical door bell on the inside. The door bell plate is 2" wide, 1 7/8" deep, and 3 3/4 tall.
