Italian Hermle Imperial Bell-striking Clock Louis XV Cartel Boulle Style Working

For sale here is this superb Imperial Louis XV style mantel clock with a quality, floating balance movement by Hermle (number 130/070). The clock strikes the hours and the half hours on a bell. The beautiful, cartel / boulle-shape, burr-wood case is finished in a very attractive green colour and is inlaid with flowers and foliage in pale fruit-wood. The case is embellished with brass mounts and legs and is topped with a cherub finial.

The clock dates from the late 20th century. It comes with a key. The clock is in excellent vintage condition and is working very well.

It measures approximately 14 1/4 inches high, 7 inches wide and 4 1/2 inches deep. Please view all the photos for details, as they form part of the description. The photos above can be enlarged. Antique and vintage clocks may require to be set up.
