Incredible Antique Saanen Switzerland Brass Sleigh Almglocken With 7 Bells

Amazing Swiss 7 bell almglocken. Three of the bells are marked Saanen, one is marked Albertino and three are unmarked. They are all mounted to a heavy leather strap that would fit around a horses or cows neck. They make an incredible jingling sound. The Almglocken is also recognized as a musical instrument and is used in symphony orchestras and by folk musicians around the world. I'm going to try to attach a video which will display their wonderful noise.

This piece has a total length of 20 inches. The seven bells are different sizes and are all oval and make their own unique sound. The largest bell is 5 inches long and 4.25 inches across.

The 2 next smaller are 4.25 inches long and 3 inches across. The 2 next size smaller are 3.5 inches long and 2.5 inches across. The two smallest bells are 3 inches long and 2.25 inches across. Please see pics, you will receive exactly what is shown. I do not think this piece was made as a musical instrument. To me it looks like it was genuinely made to be used with a living animal during ceremonies or other events. The bells are connected to the heavy leather strap by strips of metal that shows some rust. This is obviously a very very old piece. Great for decor or almost certainly an extremely rare opportunity for a folk music collector.
