EARLY-MID 19TH C AMERICAN ANTIQUE BRASS BELL WithLATHE-TRND/INCISED MAPLE WDN HNDL

Rare early 19th century American Antique 7.5 inch in height, Brass Bell, with lathe turned, incised maple hardwood handle, featuring all original Bell Interior Hardware (wire & ball clapper) and original naturally oxidized antique brass patina. Most likely used as a school bell, calling students to class, or an early mercantile establishment informing workers their shift had begun or ended. Very good - excellent overall antique condition.
