What you are looking at here is a Beautiful Casablanca Victorian ceiling fan in antique brass. Featuring a beautiful set of new old stock real wood vener mahogany blades, K5L loop arm light kit, hand cut crystal light shades, and Casablanca's W-32 Inteli-Touch wall control. This fan is in absolute beautiful condition top to bottom. Only notable blemish I could find was on the top side of the motor housing, otherwise the fan looks as good, if not better than it did when it was new off the assembly line over 30 years ago. This unit is an American made model and was manufactured in November 21, 1990.

I'll begin with the Inteli-Touch system itself. For those that are not familiar with the system, its much more than your standard 3 speed wall control. Just standard settings at the wall unit include: 6 fan speeds, light dimming, and forward and reverse.

Demonstration Mode: cycles through all general settings like light dimming, all 6 speeds, forward and reverse. Fan-Minder: you set the fan to a desired speed exceeding speed 2 and the fan will lower in speed one incriminate every hour with no beeb tone. Good for nights you want to use the fan on a higher speed but would prefer to not wake up to a draft. Light-Minder: automatically turned the light off after 2 hours.

Home-Safe: randomly cycles the light to give the appearance someone is home. The most important part of a fan, the motor. Most Casablanca models came standard with Emerson's Powerful K-55 motor to efficiency provide optimal airflow. As these fans get older, ones with heavy use may start to make noise as the bearings ware out. Weather a fan makes noise or not, I replace the bearings as a precaution so each fan I refurbishe can provide 30+ years of quiet, care free use. Paired with this motor is Casablanca's noise canceling rubber flywheel.

What this flywheel does is dampens any blade noise as well as flexes to accommodate imbalancement, should a blade warp after assembly. As long as each Casablanca dan is hung from the Hang-Tru mounting, the result is a fan that operates silently and wobble free.
