A rare vintage French table lamp. This is a superb vintage French lamp dating to the 1940's. It has a very unusual shade made from a plastic material. Condition: In shabby chic condition. Looking vintage and very charming.

Please zoom in on the photos. Some surface wear and a patina of time. Can be cleaned if desired. There is a dent in the brass arm (photo 8) Some of the stitching is missing around the shade.

The lamp has a vintage bulb holder and a recent gold coloured cable with an on/off switch (photo 12). Depending upon where in the world you are, you will need to remove the molded plug and replace it with one suitable for your own country. The lamp uses 1 x E27 screw fit bulb (not supplied).

US and Canadian buyers may be able to find a bulb adapter on line to use an E12 bulb with this item, please search'E27 to E12 adapter'. The adapter costs approx 3 USD and you will require just one.

It simply screws into place and then allows you to insert your E12 bulb which will then work normally on 110 volts. As with all used electrical equipment, it would be prudent to have this item fitted in your home and updated or rewired as deemed necessary by a qualified electrician.
