Pretty cool true story that accompanies this old bell - It was taken off of Bienville Parish Sheriff Henderson Jordan's sister's house. For those not up on their Louisiana history, Sheriff Jordan was one of 6 lawmen who killed Bonnie & Clyde. It was Sheriff Jordan's intel that allowed for the ambush killing...
All that being said, here is the info on this bell. Antique, large brass bell, wall-mount, that features ornate designs of various creatures: a Gargoyle, Eagle, Angel, Man, Lion, etc.
The part that mounts to the wall is about 8 1/2 tall. The original clapper is in the bell, but it is tied on with a small, modern piece of wire. The diameter of the bottom of the bell is about 3 1/8. When mounted, the front part will come out about 5.25. I bought this from the man who took it off of the house.
It has not been cleaned, but appears to be in VG condition.
