Antique Victorian Palais Mother of Pearl Brass Dove Bird Grapes Flowers Gold Gilt Desk Hotel Service Bell. Absolutely stunning antique Victorian counter bell, which was most probably produced by one of the world renowned artists of the Palais Royal in France. The bell has been produced from gilt metal or ormolu, with ornate pierced panel onto which three mother of pearl shells are mounted, decorated with vine leaves. Inside this sits a steel bell, which can be rung, when the mechanism to the top which is surmounted with a gilt bird, is pressed.
