An unusual antique reclaimed Victorian gilt brass & ceramic interior bell pull bearing the makers mark'T. & S' and two matching door knobs, dating to around the second half of the 19th century. The pull has a gilt brass handle with a ceramic knob and boss cover, both in a glazed black finish with a gilt foliate scroll decoration, whilst the rear steel cover has 3 arms (each with twin screw fixing holes) and a side aperture for the sprung lever operated by the handle. The top of the arm (under the screw fit boss) is cast with the makers mark of'T. & S' and the pattern number'8155.

The matching screw in ceramic door knobs have brass collars and come with their original ceramic dished backplates. Pull : approx 5 5/8 long boss to knob exc. Fitting arms and with an overall depth of 2 1/4 inc. The rear steel frame incuding arms is approx 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" at widest points exc. Door Knobs : approx 2 1/2" x 2" exc.

Screws, backplates 2 3/8 diameter. Pull : Good original and unrestored working condition with no damage and just the expected light marks / wear commensurate with age & use, would benefit from an oil. Door knobs : good original condition with no damage, tarnish to brass and rubbing to the gilt descoration. One backplate has two large shallow chips to the rear (unseen when fitted).
