Antique Victorian Bradley & Hubbard Brass Call Bell Marble Base Works Complete

Jewelry: 1910 - 1939 Art Deco. Antique Victorian Bradley & Hubbard Brass Call Bell Marble Base Works Complete. Antique Victorian call bell from Bradley & Hubbard, c. A beaded-edge conical base sits on a white marble bottom. Foliated "C" scroll style harp creates the midsection and holds the plain dome-shaped bell.

Striking mechanism hangs down from the interior mechanism, striking the wall when the top plunger is tapped. Patent dates impressed on plunger base "Pats Aug 25 1863 & Apr 8 56".

Piece measures approximately 7" High x 4" Wide x 4 Long. Some surface darkening and wear to all the exposed (and interior dome) brass that will be partly blunted if polished. No cracks in the brass assembly or bell. Brass base is not perfectly centered on the marble. The marble base show's nicks around it's sides and doesn't sit entirely flat(nut is frozen on underside).

Working plunger but the mechanism is a little stiff and will need to be cleaned. Similar item exhibited in the Smithsonian Institute. 2L3z #12 6L metalware desk_bell (B).
