Antique Patriotic / Military Cavalry J. C. Deagan Brass Chimes Wall or Table
This is a very rare set of patriotic/military music chimes by J. It was made in the early 1900's. The tubes range from 18 1/2 inches down to 7 1/4 inches long and approximately 2 1/2 inches in diameter. The entire piece with the board is 20 1/2 inches. It is very heavy, weighing 26 pounds. It has 6 metal plates with title and notes of 6 military bugle calls : Flag, Church, Tattoo, Reveille, Taps and Stable. These were all bugle calls used by the U. The tones are all loud and true. We do not have the hammer, but a proper substitute could be easily acquired. Except for a bit or wear to two of the chimes, the finish is original and complete. The board has some splitting, but it very solid and in no danger of coming apart. A truly exception example of this rare instrument. The item "Antique Patriotic / Military Cavalry J.
