It is in excellent condition for its age. I have included several views in my gallery so please take time to look at all the pictures. I was informed that it came from a New York City Hotel.

Many years ago common it was typical for fancy hotels to have a bell at the front desk to summon help however many of these bells disappeared throughout the years due to theft and breakage. This one has obviously survived. There are many reproduction pieces out there and this is not one of them. This is genuinely old however it has no markings and no date on it. The brass has a wonderful pantina and the Bell has a nice ring to it.

The lion measures 5 in long from head to tail and is 5 in tall from the base to the top.
