This listing includes FREE UK P&P. This is an amazing set of original Victorian/Edwardian cast iron grocer's shop scales with the most wonderful huge set of antique brass bell weights. They have their original large square ceramic plate which is decorated with an illustration of'Justitia et Fides' (Justice & Faith). Personified as two female figures with their attributes, and a lion, standing on the globe.

They have been painted in cream and black, which is a little chipped in places but they seem to work well and have a make-weight chamber underneath the weight plate to adjust them if they are slightly off. They would make a really stylish addition to any kitchen, especially if you have a Victorian house or old country kitchen and they could be the perfect prop for any production set in the Victorian or Edwardian period.
