7.5" tall and the base is 4"x4. In pencil on base, "Plymouth Rock Hotel Desk". Chip on marble base, see photo. And the brass has been repaired with solder on the base.

I think the spring at top is not original. It weighs 2 lbs 2 ounces. See info below on the hotel.

The Plymouth Rock Hotel was. A historic hotel in Plymouth, Massachusetts that was located on Cole's Hill, above Plymouth Rock. The hotel was built in 1873 in a former private home from 1734, and was remodeled to attract tourists. The hotel was known for its views of Cape Cod Bay, and guests were encouraged to imagine themselves reliving the events of the Pilgrims' first winter in Plymouth. The Plymouth Rock Hotel is no longer standing, and has been replaced by a condo building.

The Plymouth Wax Museum now occupies the site of the former hotel. We don't end auctions early.
