Antique Gamewell Fire Alarm and Telegraph Co. 6 Brass Gong Bell Turtle withPatina

The Gamewell Fire Alarm and Telegraph manufactured this heavy duty alarm bell/gong (turtle shape) for use with the telegraph alarm system from the late 1800's to early 1900's. This bell rang from an electric pulse to the bell. Both items came from the estate of a descendant. Of a former fire chief. The bell measures 6 inches in diameter and is approximately 2-3/4 inches deep to the top of the bell with an additional 3/4 inch to top of acorn.
