Gilded original figure and scroll fretwork side panels with material behind them. The case is made of mahogany which gives this absolutely stunning display finish and makes it stand out. The clock has inlaid brass decoration to the face which gives a impressive display look. Working lock and key to glazed front bezel and to the back door it has a turn latch which holds it shut.

Case is in excellent original condition for age and looks stunning on display with good patina. Silvered circular dial signed by the maker Webster of London. Engraved Roman numerals & original hands. Dial is in excellent original condition and looks great on display. English 8 day triple fusee chain driven musical chime 8 bell 1/4 chiming movement.

1/4 Chiming 8 bell musical chime every quarter of an hour with hourly gong strike on the hour after the musical chimes has finished. Original Pendulum and a new brass winding key. Extremely high quality has can be expected. Movement is in full working order keeping good time and chiming the 1/4s as it should on 8 bells. Victorian, mid - 19th century. The clock has beautiful proportions and measures 22 inches high x 13.75 inches wide x 8.25 inches deep. This is a perfect investment clock and a beautiful display piece. Looks absolutely fantastic wherever it is displayed and a true talking point of any room.
