He has lace collar at the neck and yellow and red silk fabric clothing, again with jingle bells attached to each of the pointed ends of the fabric (one bell is missing). This jester doll is mounted on a turned wooden handle which looks to have been shortened at the bottom and is fitted with three rows of increasing sized bells. This most unusual and rare antique doll dates circa 1910 and is offered in good pre-loved condition. There is some wear to the silk of the hat which has frayed to reveal the horsehair stuffing. One bells is missing to the tip of the tabbard as mentioned above.
The face has some wear to the underside of the nose over one nostril. All in all however this is an unusual antique doll which is in good order for it's age. Thank you for your interest. Get images that make Supersized seem small.
