This item is an antique ornate brass door bell knocker made to be mounted next to door and pull handle moves the bell from side to side to sound the bell. This beautiful brass bell is adorned with ornate designs including an angel at the front with a chicken or rooster and dragons. A Latin phrase "Vocem-Meam-A Ovime Tangit" circles the bell. This translates to "Whoever touches me will hear my voice".

This antique bell is made from solid brass. It is a knocker that is attached to the wall. When you pull the chain on the side, it rings the bell. The bell has the Latin saying across the top with different animals. The front is anchored with an angel with wings spread. The bell part alone measures 4 inches in diameter and stands about 6-7/8 tall. The overall dimensions are 12-1/2" tall x 5-3/4" deep x 6 wide. This item weights 2 pounds and 15 ounces without a box or packing. The chain is a gold tone metal chain and is the only part that does not look to be original.
