Antique c. 1880 CONNELL'S PATENT Brass Door Bell With Striker

This unusual door bell is perfect for a restoration project. Made by Connell's before the turn of the last century. Bell is in good antique condition. Both bell and striker feature a scroll floral decorative pattern.

Front of bell embossed with Connell's Patent Mar 18, 1872. Back of mount plate April 28 1874. Pat May 11, 1880 on back of striker plate.

All parts appear to be present and bell does ring when struck correctly with striker. Diameter of Doorbell mount plate is 4.5 inches. Striker plate is about 2 5/8 inches wide x 4 1/8 inches.
