Antique Brass Steam Whistle 10. Would make a great gift for a special occasion, or keep for yourself.

Nice looking brass Steam Whistle here. Made by the Buckeye Brass Works Company of Dayton, OH. Engraved as such at the top of the bell chamber. Also has "2" embossed on the activating lever. This whistle could have been used on a train or tractor/engine.

We can therefore better control our acquisition costs, keep commission costs low (if applicable), and finally, we don't have the overhead that the higher end houses and galleries pass on to their clients. Nicely designed Brass Steam Whistle here. No cracks in the whistle body.

The button to activate the whistle still works when pressed in. Cannot say if working or not as no way to test. The lever to activate the whistle is with the piece, that is made of cast iron. Some discoloration patina to the whistle in places. Some pipe wrench marks in places on the whistle as well. This Vintage Brass Steam Whistle is 10" tall by 2-3/8" wide.
