Antique Brass Sleigh Bells- Circuit Rider Unique Mushroom Shape-Etched Phrases

Here are brass sleigh bells in what I would call a mushroom shape. Referred to as circuit rider bells.

On the underside of each bell is etched a phrase that is unique to each size. #1 Reform in all things - 1 1/8. #2 Truth for effect but love to direct - 1 3/8. #3 All force in man is governing, unphilosophical - 1 3/4.

The number 3 has small crack on top. Original leather fell apart so mounted these on leather strap.
