Antique Brass Horse Terret Bells for Hames Collar Mount Parade Carriage Sleigh

This three-bell set is about 9" by 7" overall with a center 3" bell and two 2 ½" bells. The Terret would mount on a horse's Hames and was used for parades and other formal events. At more than 100 years of age it has developed a mellow patina. There are small marks, scuffs, and the 3 bell has lost one of its four gongs. The Terret is sturdy and the bell sound is pleasant.
