Antique 23 Graduated Petal Design Brass Sleigh Bells 7.5' Leather Strap. Owned by a rural Colorado family. An overall wonderful set of bells from a bygone era. This set of 23 traditional sleigh bells range from the largest bell 3.5" diameter to the smallest bell at 1.5" diameter. Each bell is stamped by size with the smallest bell a #5 size and the largest a #13 size.

Bells are attached by sturdy hardware. Each bell has a petal design around the openings (see pictures).

Bells made over 100 years ago in the United States of heavy brass. The bells are mounted on a heavy strap that is soft and pliable leather. One cut in the leather, near the top of the harness (see pictures). Strap inside has thin leather that covers the bell attachments. In several places the inside leather is broken (see pictures).
