Up for sale today is this Antique 1919 Chelsea Ships Bell 6 Silver Dial Brass Case Clock. The clock is being offered as a in working condition. The clock will need a little TLC as it looks like if suffered a fall. The clocks solid brass case does have three dents to the flared back portion used to attach it to a wall (see pics). Clock's case is serial numbered 129547 with matching 129547 number to the movement. The serial number according to the Chelsea database would date this to approx 1919. The plate that holds the dial to the movement has three stems and two of them have come loose. It looks like it should be an easy fix for anyone familiar with clock works.
Movement is keeping time and running well. Not sure about the bell sequence, may need adjusting as well. No glass in the screw down bezel and the bezel goes on but not smooth. Great 102 year old Chelsea in well used and sailed condition.
