Vintage handcrafted bronze bell with an all-over floral design featuring an 1814 commemorative date, multiple images of the Virgin de Guadalupe, and the name'MEJICO'. Aged leather lacing with wooden bead on clapper for ringing. 8 1/2 inches overall height. Excellent condition with loud, resounding ring. The design was created by making impressions into the sand mold by found objects before casting. Patina was applied at the time of manufacture.
