Case has been cleaned and relacquered leaving age and wear marks but with a smooth finish. Movement serial number 247378 dated January 1939. 7 jewel platform escapement as noted in pictures. Chimes 8 bell sequence on hour and half hour. Glass and door in excellent condition with small scratch in glass at 2 oclock position as noted in pictures.
