I believe this is a vintage cow / cattle bell with leather strap. I inherited it from someone who might have had it quite a while, but I cannot say for certain. Magnets do NOT stick to the outer bell, which seems to have some patina.
Magnets DO stick to the clapper, which appears to be rusty. Magnets also stick to the belt buckle and the metal that attaches the bell to the leather strap. The leather strap is quite stiff. The width of the strap is a little under 2.5 inches.
The length of the strap is hard to determine because of the stiffness. The length of it as shown in the photos (buckled and doubled over) is around 16 to 17 inches.
The bell itself is a little over 4 inches in width and roughly a little over 3 inches in height. There is a short video to give an idea how this sounds. It resonates well and can be pretty loud in my opinion. CONDITION: The outer bell appears to have some wear and patina with age. Please check out all photos. Thank you for checking out this listing.
