String of 34 1 Antique 1878 Brass Sleigh Bells Great Bells, Strap Not So Much

First they have a great sound and, second, each one shows patent dates of 1876 and 1878. There is no maker identified. Each bell is 1 in diameter and there are 34 bells, all of which are in excellent condition.

The strap is cracked into four sections and one bell is detached from the leather. When the strap was complete.

It would have been six feet long. This is a truly rare set of bells and there is no doubt about their age.
