There are no dents or scratches from it years of use. The brass has a few areas where it has worn.

The thumb press wobbles only slightly. The brass color has aged nicely so as to give it a pleasing antique color. I just had a similar one that was dated on the back. This good old lever works as it should with the normal amout of side play in the lever. A set of brass screws is included.

Door bell would mount outside the door and the lever arm goes through the door and trips the mechanical door bell. The door bell plate is 3 1/4. The trip arm reaches 2 7/8. The thumb press is 1 3/8. Visit our store for more great items!
