LARGE VINTAGE NAVY USN BRONZE SHIPS BELL withMOUNTING ARM & SERIAL # 10 Diam

The bell itself appears to be solid bronze and the arm is brass. Bell diameter is 11" and the overall length is 11". The base of the arm has a slide release to remove the bell housing.

There is a SERIAL # 63810 on the underside of the mounting plate. The bell nor the arm have been polished and are in their original state with very nice patina. The sound of the bell is extremely loud and robust and could surely be heard for miles in the open sea. A wonderful collector's piece of maritime Navy history.
