Estate Sale Find Vintage Chinese Brass Temple Bell on Stand with Mallet

What could that beautiful sound be? It's an intricately detailed brass bell with mallet!

Prettily designed, what can you see and discover on it? Perfect as a decorative piece or can even use functionally: call your kids or fur babies in by a simple dong as dinner is ready, time for religious prayer, or perhaps as a part of meditation! Also, would be a great conversation piece--be the envy of all your friends and guests who come over! Could even be used to spruce up a beige office or room.

In great condition, but as you can see in the last picture, there is a little part of the intentional hole in a letter that is bigger. One side of the stand is a little loose, probably due to age, doesn't take away from the beauty nor its usability. As it is very old, there are also signs of aging in the sense of discoloration; some of it comes up with my nail, so I think there is a good chance of saving some of it with a little TLC. It measures roughly 16 inches in height and 8 inches wide at the widest part.
