I have bought counter/service bells for many years, this is the finest example I have ever seen. Dimensions: Base is 3 3/4 in diameter.

4 3/8 tall to the top of the wire looped handle. All brass metalwork, with intricate grape clusters, vines and flowers. Bell is cleverly hidden underneath all of the shell, and brass decoration. This bell has a fantastic sounding ring to it. Overall very nice condition, some bends in the brass "terrace that surrounds", Beautiful large Mother of Pearl shells, set in brass bezels. This is a must for a serious antique bell collection, truly a gem.
