Antique Horse Sleigh Bells 78 Leather strap Brass Graduated Sizes No.'s 1 18

Antique Horse Sleigh Bells on a 78 leather strap. The strap is 78 and has an old modification to both ends of the strap.

Both the buckle end of the strap and the other end with the holes has a section of the strap that has been added / replaced or extended that is attached with a rivet. You can see wear to the threading on the strap on the inner side. The bells are graduated from size 1 to size 18. All the bells are in good condition and all the numbers are legible (#1 is a little harder to see).

The number order of the bells on the strap are 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2. They have been well used and loved. All the bells are firmly attached to the strap. They weigh about 9 pounds. Please see pictures for details and condition and sound!
