Antique GAMEWELL, NY FIRE ALARM TELEGRAPH Brass Tapper Bell or Gong New York

A very nice late 19th century Gamewell Co. NY Fire Alarm Tapper Bell. This would have been used in a fire alarm telegraph office mounted to a heavy slate switchboard & used to test the internal circuits.

The unit is in very good condition overall & measures a little over 7 inches in length by 3 1/2 inches wide with a 3 inch brass bell. The piece is in 100% working condition with no issues. Gamewell made many different bells & gongs over the years but this particular 1890's tapper is difficult to locate.
