SET 9 ENGLISH BRASS GROCERS BELL WEIGHTS 4lb to 1/4oz. The 4lb and 2lb weights are stamped CROWN 889 and 78. The absence of the Royal Cypher indicates the weights date after 1969.

The 78 therefore probably represents 1978. The other weights are unstamped. Judging by the fact they all have holes they will date to at least 1978 and I believe earlier than this. Mass production in later years did away with the hole, cheaper and quicker! UK couriers will not accept a PO Box as US couriers will not deliver to one.

You may be concerned that they have to be sent such a long way but I can assure you there is no need. I use sturdy boxes and pack all the spaces so they remain rigid.
