Rare Antique Brass Tortoise Clockwork Shop Desk bell. Fab Patina. Working Order
Fabulous antique brass tortoise clockwork cast iron shop counter or desk bell. This one has a lovely mixed dark and copper colour with scale detail to the legs as well as the pattern on the shell, which has an unusual edging. You wind it up underneath.
Put it on a flat surface and press the head to ring the bell. It is in working order but I suspect it could use a clean as the bell noise is a bit croaky. Please study the photos as they form part of the description.
