Nice French 19th Century Brass Bell Striking Mantle Clock. Well cast French 19th century mantle clock in a nice Gothic style pierced brass case.

It has a very nice dial with a great centre, the enamel chapter ring with Roman numerals and black and red markers is also very good. The left winding hole does have a minor chip which is not easy to see and a gromit would cover it if required. The front and back has thick bevelled glass (front has some scratches and a minor chip). This count wheel escapement movement is not signed. There is a key, bell and pendulum Pendulum may not be the original? The two springs are good and fully wound and the clock ticks away.

With a good clean and service the clock should run well. Measures 15in tall x 8in wide x 4 (and a quarter) in deep. Postal costs refer to UK mainland addresses.
