Large Antique Bell Glass Ceiling Light Pendant + Ornate Faux Gallery & Fittings

This is a Large Antique Bell Glass Ceiling Light. This ceiling light is early 20th Century in age. The shade is a classic Bell shape - It is made of good quality thick and heavy glass, the glass is moulded with a Cut glass appearance and has both clear and frosted sections in its cross cut and floral decorations. This old original shade produces a lovely lighting effect which sparkles and reflects well onto surrounding surfaces. The shade comes with an unusual faux 3 screw brass gallery, the galley matches the shade well and has the same flowing lines but the gallery is fixed and non removeable.

The gallery is fitted with a substantial hanging hook. There are some nice patches of old Copperised plating to the galley along with a stamped patent type number. Inside the shade is an old brass heat plate. The lampshade comes with an earthed Brass bulb holder. Also supplied is a length of Vintage Brass plated hanging heavy hanging chain and the original heavy brass ceiling rose. The light works well and has a length of modern gold earthed wiring fitted. Please see my images for the best description. Perfect for any period property. Max Hanging drop is 105 Cm (can be shortened by removing chain links) The shade is 27.5 Cm Diameter x Pendant height of 36 Cm to the top of the hanging hook Condition is good for age.... The shade is free of major cracks or damage but has a fine scratches, fleabites and areas that show use but nothing that notices. A few small manufacturing marks in the surface of the glass and some small bubbles. General small signs of life and tarnish to the original brass gallery and hanging hook. The ceiling rose has a modern replacement eye fitted as the original was worn and beyond use. Wiring is modern good and earthed and the light works well. The light takes one bayonet fitting bulb.
