Dollhouse Miniatures Vintage Clare-Bell Brass Bed Dressed by Joyce Metcalf, IGMA

Dollhouse Miniatures Clare-Bell Brass Double Canopy Bed. The brass bed was made in 1987 and is Serial #388. It is gold plated brass and is a beautiful bed. It measures 7" long, 4 1/2" wide and 6 5/8 high. The bed was dressed by IGMA artist Joyce Metcalf of Joyous Originals from Eugene, Oregon.

The mattress and pillows were covered with a light cream fabric. The bedding is a vintage hankie, finished with vintage lace. The bedding is lined with silk, as is the canopy. Hand made flowers are on each side of the draping silk swag tie-backs. Joyce also made fabulous dolls.

Sadly, Joyce passed away last year. This is from my personal collection.

I have treasured it for the past 30 years ago. I hope someone else can treasure it for the next 30. The pillows are not included.
