Overall, the clock measures roughly 7 by 7 inches. Overall, the dial including dial ring measure roughly 4.5 inches. The clock does run, but does not strike properly.
It sometimes strikes on the hour, but not the half hour as it should. The last couple of hours, it has not struck at all, even on the hour.
Both springs appear to be good, but obviously the strike needs attention. Overall, the case and dial are in great condition for a clock that is more than 110 years old, see pictures. The hinged bezel closes, but can be opened without pressing the button. I did not take this clock apart to see if serial numbers match, but will guarantee it if they don't.
