Antique rare Victorian 19th century Carriage Solid Brass Winter Sleigh Bells on their original leather horse strap. The bell shape has led these to be referred to as acorn bells.

The 1800's acorn bells are very scarce. Each brass bell is 2 " x 1 1/2 " 20 bells. Their musical tone is simply exquisite. Beautiful early iron time worn aged patina.

Equestrian leather strap is about 72 inches long. The leather is still supple with some rustic corrosion seen on metal buckle. There is an extra length attached which is typical on all bell straps to insert the buckle, see all photos. Not perfect new but beautifully old! 33" tall x 17 " wide x 12 deep front to back.
