Seth Thomas Ships Bell Clock with external bell in working condition. The ships bell strikes as it should on the hour and half hour based on the Navy's 4 hour watch. The bell is one of the best sounding ones I have heard, and reminds me of the many years I spent in the US Navy. When wound the clock started up ticking on it's own and continued to run until it needed rewinding. Accuracy was not tested and the clock could use a good cleaning and lubrication.

Case has some fine scratches, small dings and could use polishing. The dial has some scratches and wear. Clock measures 10-1/2" x 6-7/8" x 3-1/4. The posted photographs are an important part of the physical description closely view all of them, so you can judge for yourself the condition, quality, and age of the item. Clock does not have its original key, but comes with a new replacement Seth Thomas key.
