Works well, dings with you push the handle and again when you release it. Found at an estate sale near Owensboro Ky. Still on the original door where it had been for 150 years. The only thing missing is the original mounting screws.

The ones for the bell do not show and the four small ones for the handle should be easy to replace. On the body are 2 patent dates: June 1865 and May 1869.
