Specializing in Vintage and Antique Architectural Salvage. 1893 RUSSELL And ERWIN R&E Brass Door Bell. This is a great antique door bell made by Russell and Erwin patented in 1893. This is in overall great antique condition and it's in excellent working condition!

This is operated by a thumb turn. This can be installed through a partition that is 1-1/8 in depth. If you need it to go through a wall or something with greater depth you could replace the existing rod with a longer one, but it's a bit of work (I've done it). The easiest thing to do is make a coupling that connects the existing rod to another rod with the same dimensions. If that's too much work, I have another R&E doorbell in another listing that has an extra long connecting rod. The diameter of this bell is around 4. I've got some other antique door bells listed.
